I went shopping in Silverburn the other day, and came out with quite a few make-up and skincare goodies. I also had some deliveries from online shopping too; so I thought i’d share some of my new treats with you. I’ll do fuller reviews on some of them later once i’ve used them for a while.
MAC Face & Body Foundation 50ml, £21.50, Debenhams
This is a really runny foundation; but can be built up to the coverage level you need. It’s great for creating a more even skintone on pasty legs like mine. I’m not a frequent fake-tanner!
MAC Vanilla Pigment, £17, Debenhams
I bet I would struggle to find one of you who has not heard of this. It is such a versatile product and a little goes a long way. It is a gorgeous shimmery pearl-coloured powder that is an amazing highlighter and eyeshadow base. You can also fix some in with foundation for a luminous complexion.
MAC Travel Bottles, £4, Debenhams
I got some of these to mix a couple of my foundations together in so I can get the shade I want.
Dead Sea Spa Magik Night Cream, £8.50, Debenhams
I bought this on a whim as I needed a new night cream. Instead of buying more L’Occitane Immortelle at £ , I thought i’d try this as i’ve read some good reviews on it. I’ve used it for a couple of nights now and it’s nowhere near as nourishing; but i’ll update you when i’ve been using it for a while.
Scholl Dry Skin Daily Foot Moisturiser, £4.99, Boots
I adore the smell of the Scholl foot creams. I’ve never looked after my feet, so I thought i’d start now. I had a sample sachet of this, and loved the scent so much I had to have more.
Bare Minerals ‘The Love Affair’ Luminizer Powder, £19.99, Chemistdirect.co.uk
This is such a nice highlighting powder. It looks great dusted gently all over the face for a ‘candlelight’ glow, and also just along the cheek and brow bones. You save quite a bit off the RRP of £26 by buying from Chemist Direct online too.
