MY FIRST TIME TAG

image

I’ve never really done a tag-style post before; but i’ve been really enjoying watching this one on You Tube, so thought i’d make it into a post for you guys to find out more about me. I’ve only picked a few of the questions so it is not absurdly long.

What was your FIRST job?

My first time in a work environment was when I was 15 and did work experience (mandatory in my school) in an estate agents. I did the binding on the brochures mostly; but they were very nice. My first paid job was in a jewellers in my last year of school. I lasted 6 shifts before quitting. I was rubbish. Customers kept shouting at me as I took a long time finding what they needed. Once I couldn’t find the correct instruction booklet to go with a new watch, and the customer was getting angry; so in the end I just shoved any old instruction guide in. Another time a customer bought a fairly cheap 9ct gold pendant. When I went to the stock room there was only one left but the chain was tangled. I was scared of getting shouted at by them, so I just put the pendant on another chain- a more expensive one. My work ethic was faaaabulous.

Who was the FIRST person you text today?

I’ve only sent one text today, and it was to my husband asking him to record Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I was in the next room…yes, I do that.

Who was your FIRST grade teacher?

My Primary One teacher was Mrs Brown. Rather worryingly, I met her on the train the other month (two decades later) and she could tell me my old address, and that my Nana took me to nursery and where. I had 30 in my class- multiple that by twenty years, and you may have an idea of the type of memorable child I was. Suddenly the stories of me throwing yogurts down supermarket aisles were starting to make sense…

What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

PJ & Duncan. Oh yes, “everybody rumble”!

What was the FIRST movie you remember seeing?

The Rescuers. I ran out crying. I bet you are wishing I was your kid.
