i’ve been looking for some cheap jewellery for the Summer that’s really casual but interesting, as i’m tending to stick to plain leggings and tops at the moment, so it’s all about my fashion accessories making the outfit more exciting.

I came across this online retailer the other day, and I just love so many of the pieces. They are so affordable! Here are some of my favourites in-case you want to place an order too…

Silver Bird On Orange Chain Necklace, £3.99; Neon Orange Charm Bracelet, £3.99; Chunky Pink Crystal Flower Ring, £4.99; Cupid’s Arrow Pendant Necklace, £2.99.

You’ll all know already that I love my e.l.f Corrective Concealer Palette; but last week I needed a new flesh-toned concealer to go over the top. I have Benefit’s Fake Up; but am not a fan, so I thought i’d try their ‘industrial strength’ concealer Boi-ing, and I love it.

I am the light shade 01. The concealer comes in a little pot and is a thick cream consistency. A little goes a long way, and it gives me the coverage I need (which Fake Up just couldn’t do). It lasts the distance too. I’ve used my tattoo to show you the coverage level.

If you need a strong concealer to cover dark circles etc, then i’d recommend Benefit’s Boi-ing. You can get it for £17.50 from House of Fraser.

P.S: As you can see, my photo background is the new Devil Wears Prada sequel, The Devil Returns. Tesco are selling the novel at the moment for just £2.95 (RRP £7.99) so get there quick!

You may or may not be aware that I am Disney-mad! A Disney geek of the greatest proportions.

Walt Disney World is my favourite place. I’ve been so many times, and spent my Honeymoon there too.

I collect Disney pins, and Disney Vinylmation figures; and basically anything Alice In Wonderland themed too. I may actually have enough Alice teapots and teacups to open my own tearoom.

I thought I would share some photos of my collection with you, and also some Walt Disney World holiday photos to try and convert some of you into worshiping ‘The Mouse’!

This is an amazing hand cream, and as just a general cream to tackle harsh dry skin patches. It’s designed for the hairdressing trade to moisturise, protect skin from heat and act as a barrier cream against the chemicals in hair products and dyes.

For some reason, one of my elbows is always really dry and often sore. Reamin has completely softened it- something no other moisturiser has been able to do.
It also leaves my hands very smooth. The formula is thick, and takes some rubbing in for it to fully abdorb; but once it has sunk into your skin it feels amazing. Your hands feel protected also, as it contains beeswax, so leaves a non-greasy invisible coating on your hands. I love it, and it smells great too- like the sun-tan lotion that I associate with my childhood Summer holidays.

It’s available online for £4.32 (for 75ml)- link.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Edinburgh launch of Benefit’s newest primer- Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer. Benefit’s Head Make-up & Trend Artist Lisa Potter-Dixon explained how the product worked over some Proseco and canapes.

The packaging design fits with the rest of the simplistic and monochrome Flawless range, and the primer itself is in the form of a solid twist-up stick rather than Benefit’s previous liquid primer offerings. It looks like it has a beige pigment in it, but it actually goes on transparent; so suits all skin tones.

If you are a fan of Benefit primers already, this one doesn’t replace them, as they all have a different purpose. Porefessional is for minimising pores and smoothing your skin’s surface, and That Gal is a primer to brighten and illuminate your complexion. The newest, Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer, is designed for longevity and to make your foundation stay put all day.

It contains what Benefit are calling ‘make-up magnets’, and the primer must be applied in a circular motion to unlock them. When you then pop your foundation on top, it will ‘attach’ to the primer and stay put for as long as 15 hours.

Now, I haven’t tested it out for 15 hours; but I have had it on with Benefit’s Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation for over 8 hours, and my make-up has stayed a lot more intact after that time than it has with any other primer; so if you hate having to redo your face every afternoon, this is the primer for you.

The formula is non-greasy and just sinks into the skin, and the handy stick means no wastage and no mess. Perfect!

Benefit Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer is available now for £24.50- link.

These Lavender & Aloe Vera bath sea salts from organic skincare brand Lavera is the perfect thing for me at night when I struggle to wind down and stop worrying.

They are so relaxing, and are designed to balance body and mind. I love that they come in handy little sachets at such a low cost. The perfect purchase for a quick pick-me-up.

You add the salts to your running bath water, then climb in and chill for at least 10-20 minutes to get the full effect.

The organic sea salts are from the Algarve, and are coated in jojoba oil, vitamin E and shea butter to give your skin a real treat.

I got mine for £2.49 from Wholefoods whilst doing my grocery shopping; but you can also get them a bit cheaper from some online pharmacies.

These lip glosses from Laura Mercier smell amazing- like melted caramel.

They are really high-shine and have a good level of pigment. The shade I have is Bonbon- a gorgeous bright pink that’s perfect for Summer. It’s great if you want some colour and shine; but don’t want to wear a heavy lipstick.

The formula is light; not that really sticky mixture that has put me off so many lip glosses before. I love it.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace is available for £18.50 from House of Fraser.

Last week I was invited to a press breakfast at Glasgow’s House of Fraser with Laura Mercier Global Make-Up Artist Juan Carlos Belmonte.

We enjoyed some delicious cakes and pastries whilst discovering some of Juan’s favourite Laura Mercier products, and how to create the perfect Summer eyes and cheeks. You’ll be able to see his tutorial soon in Twinkle Style & Travel Magazine; but I thought i’d share some photos, here on my blog, of the gorgeous room they set up for the event as it was so beautiful.
