Your first reaction might be to turn your nose up at the thought of a second-hand Christmas present, but you're missing a treat - Revolve research has shown that 4 out of 5 Scots would be happy to receive a pre-owned gift this Christmas. Quality second-hand items bought from Revolve-certified stores or re-use organisations make great, unique gifts and you can even turn some items that you might typically overlook in these stores into really personal presents. Revolve, Scotland's national re-use quality standard, and Zero Waste Scotland have asked me to share my crafty DIY tips with you to help give you some ideas.

If you are struggling for ideas or have run out of time to get Christmas presents, these are gifts that you can buy online, then print out and pop in an envelope - no shopping trip, no gift wrapping, no fuss. From quirky subscriptions to hot event tickets, there is something in my edit for everyone in your life.
I wanted to share with you how I am wrapping my Christmas gifts this year, as you really enjoyed last year's festive gift wrapping post (here). This year I got all my paper, tags and ribbon at WH Smith and my embellishments at Hobbycraft. I created three different gift wrapping styles using the same rolls of paper.

A couple of weeks ago, the Glasgow Loves Christmas team treated myself and some other bloggers to a fun-filled day out in Glasgow to show us what the city has to offer at Christmastime.
We started our day off at the lovely Kimbles cafe and chocolate shop in the city's St. Enoch Centre. They sell a huge range of luxury chocolates, so if you are still looking for any stocking fillers, this is the place to head to.
Their cafe also has an extensive hot chocolate menu and the star of the show for me was their DIY White Chocolate Hot Chocolate - you get a mug of hot milk, as well as a dish of white chocolate buttons to mix into it, and marshmallows and whipped cream to top it off with. So nice! Kimbles also has a spectacular view over St. Enoch's Square, which is home to a Christmas market in December.
Also in the St. Enoch Centre is the Glasgow branch of famous toy store Hamleys. We headed there next to meet some lively elves and visit Santa. Their Santa experience is so much more than just standing in a queue, having a minute with the man himself and then leaving - it's such a magical experience for kids and all details have been thought of, right from when you are greeted with Santa's elves checking his Naughty or Nice List. You are then taken, singing carols, to their Party Room grotto where you are told about all the latest popular toys, before you get an audience with Santa and a chance to tell him what you want for Christmas.
Next we headed to the only Charlotte Tilbury counter in Scotland, in Glasgow's House of Fraser. The team there treated us to a masterclass in how to achieve her sophisticated but sultry signature Dolce Vita look. If you haven't experience Charlotte Tilbury's products yet, you really need to as they are incredible. I featured a masterclass with Charlotte Tilbury herself on my blog here last month.
All of Charlotte's looks begin with her ultra-softening Goddess Skin Clay Mask, followed by her moisturising Magic Cream - the perfect base for makeup. I think her eyeshadow quads are my favourite products, and you can re-create this look and the incredible sparkle with her The Dolce Vita Luxury Palette.
We then went across the road to the Argyll Arcade, home to so many of Glasgow's jewellers. We went to ROX, the luxury diamond specialist, for afternoon tea in their stunning Thrill Room where we ate delicious cakes and looked at pretty jewels. Pieces here range from affordable bracelets under £50 to the most epic of upmarket diamond rings. Don't be intimidated to go inside as the staff are so friendly.
I had to leave the day out a bit early to set up my blogger sleepover, so the last stop for me was the Buchanan Galleries shopping centre to do a bit of Secret Santa shopping for one of the other bloggers in the group. I also received a gift, which I was so happy with. I got the Zoella Lifestyle 'Once Upon a Time...' Notebook that I've wanted for ages, as well as a Joules Lip Balm Trio and a Sanctuary Spa Get Cosy Candle. The shopping centre has everything from Boots and Thorntons to John Lewis and Swarovski.
I had such a fun day and it was a great reminder of what my city has to offer. To find out what's on in Glasgow at Christmas, visit the Glasgow Loves Christmas site.
I received all experiences in this post free of charge, but all opinions are my own.

Maskorea masks come in a three-step treatment pack that includes a cleanser, a sheet mask and a night cream. There are three varieties and i've been trying out the Instant Glow Sheet Mask and the Too Many Late Nights Sheet Mask. They are a UK brand, created by two friends, one of whom is Korean, who are inspired by Korean skincare.

Many months ago, I got a very early introduction to Christmas this year from Lorraine Wood Flowers in Glasgow when I attended one of her DIY wreath workshops. I've been saving this tutorial to share with you during the festive season. Everything you will need (except from some wire and ribbon) is natural foliage, so go forth and forage.

If you read my blogger sleepover post (here) yesterday, you'll know that we had a brightly decorated Christmas tree at the event. I wanted to share with you a tutorial on how to make two multicoloured Christmas baubles - for an alternative to a traditional tree.

If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I host a yearly blogger sleepover in Glasgow for some of my blogging friends. This year, we returned to the luxurious Grand Central Hotel for food, pampering and lots of chat.

The S Box is a crafty monthly subscription box launch from haberdashery store The Stichery and November's box is Nordic Noel* (£14.95 per month from The Stitchery) - a Christmas-themed box of fabric, ribbon, thread and embellishments treats. I've created and made my own DIY fabric advent calendar using the contents of this month's box and I wanted to share the tutorial with you.

It's time for my weekly face mask review, and this week it's all about the new Liz Earle Superskin Overnight Mask* (£42 from Boots) - a mask that works as you sleep to give you brighter, smoother and more nourished skin.

There's nothing better on a winter night than getting cosy indoors in cute pyjamas. As I'm putting the final touches to my annual luxury blogger sleepover for 2016 (it's going to be epic), I'm thinking very much about sleepwear.
Getting into my pyjamas at the end of a busy day is one of my most favourite things in the world and I hope that you love these ones that I've picked out to share with you. I surely can't be the only one who does a sleepwear haul at this time of year?!

A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend an intimate press masterclass with Charlotte Tilbury herself, at House of Fraser in Glasgow, where we watched her do a step-by-step look on a model as we brushed along with her on own own faces. We attempted Charlotte's The Dreamy Look with some of her most popular products and her new Christmas gift set Dreamy Look In a Clutch* (£90 from House of Fraser).

Today is National Stress Awareness Day, so I thought it apt that I share with you the latest relaxing lavender beauty products that I've been loving. As I'm sure you will know by now, I'm obsessed with this scent and I fill my house and my life with as much of it as possible as it really helps to calm me down.

There are so many beauty subscription boxes in the UK now, and they vary greatly in quality and price. I was invited by Look Incredible to experience their October Deluxe Beauty Box - one of the pricier subscription boxes on the market. I was so impressed, so I just had to share it with you. This box is such good value for money, and if you are a beauty junkie, you'll adore it.

I know, I know, I don't actually need anymore skincare, but I love to keep trying and discovering new things - especially in winter when my skin needs extra pampering. I was telling L'Occitane how much I wanted to try their Shea Ultra Rich Comforting Face Cream and they asked me to share that with you, along with all the other skincare products currently on my wishlist for this winter.
I hadn't heard of the Moi-Même Box until they kindly asked me if I wanted to experience receiving one myself. These quarterly lifestyle boxes are full of beautiful beauty, fashion and lifestyle items that are tailored to your favourite colours, scents and skin type. These boxes are such a great gift to buy for yourself, for some much-needed 'me time'.
