LATEST IN BEAUTY WEEKEND AWAY BEAUTY BOX
The Latest In Beauty Weekend Away Beauty Box* (£20 from Latest In Beauty) is one of their limited edition collections that are available for one-off purchase. It contains everything you need for a pampering summer weekend away - from a cleansing oil to a hair mask and nail polish.
The Latest In Beauty Weekend Away Beauty Box contains a mix of full-size, deluxe travel size and miniature sample size beauty products - there are nine in total.
There's a deluxe travel size sample (50ml) of the brilliant Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Hair Healer Leave-In Conditioner and there is enough for at least three applications (dependant on your hair's length). This leave-in conditioner adds moisture to your hair and nourishes it - especially important during the hot summer months. There's also a deluxe travel size sample of the cult REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Lotion (50ml) - this is somewhere between a lotion and a cream in consistency as it takes a bit of rubbing into the skin to absorb, but it leaves skin amazingly soft and smelling beautifully of roses. There's definitely enough here for a generous full-body application.
Also in the box is a deluxe travel size sample of the Philosophy Renewed Hope In a Jar Eye Cream (3ml). There is enough in this little tube to last around a week so it's the perfect vacation size. It's a fragrance-free and lightweight cream that brightens the eye area and makes it look more awake. It also smoothes the eye area and contains anti-oxidents. I find this cream very refreshing on my skin and I've really been enjoying using it. There's also a full-size tube of the Organic Pharmacy Marigold & Comfrey Hand Cream (50ml). I'm very fussy when it comes to scents and hand creams and I'm not really a fan of this one. I find the fragrance too strong and the formula a little greasy. It contains Aloe, Shea Butter and Calendula for moisturisation.
I love the inclusion of the Sanctuary Spa Ultimate Cleansing Oil in the box - there's a 50ml deluxe sample - as I've had it in the back of my mind to try this for a while. It cleanses and removes makeup so well, and feels very luxurious too. If you use a larger version of a cleansing oil, this is such a handy size to take away on a trip with you. There is enough for two weeks of daily use in here as you don't use much at a time - warmed between your palms and massaged onto your face. It's very gentle and contains a special blend of four oils, including Avocado Oil.
There's also a miniature sample of the Merumaya Integrative Effective Skincare Mud Marvels Mask (3ml- enough for two full-face applications). This is a traditional hardening mud mask that deeply cleans and removes dirt and excess oil. It's made from charcoal and ground volcanic ash and it is great for those with oily skin and blemishes. There's also AHAs in there to gently exfoliate the skin. I found this left my skin very soft, smooth and clean, while also feeling nourished.
I also really enjoyed using the minature sample of the Melvita L'Or Bio Huile Extraordinaire body oil. It comes in a handy little spray bottle, so if perfect for a couple of days away. It's a lightweight hydrating body oil that smells lovely - a bit like suncream - and it absorbs into the skin really well without leaving it greasy. It contains a blend of five oils (including Argan Oil) that are rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9.
Finally, there's a full-size Nails Inc Nail Polish in Sloane Mews. It's a dark plum shade that's definitely more suited to autumn and winter, but will still be a chic shade for summer nights out. There's also a full-size Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream. This is a rich night cream that leaves skin incredibly soft and plump when you wake up in the morning. I've had one of these before and enjoyed using it. It makes you look less tired and really hydrates and brightens the skin.
If this a box that you intend to buy for a summer trip?
