Last week I was invited to a leather work taster workshop at The Edinburgh Remakery that was all about learning basic leather work skills and how to re-purpose old scrap bits of leather. I made this cute little makeup pouch and I wanted to share the tutorial with you.

Paul Mitchell is one of the most respected names in haircare and I've been trying their MarulaOil range over the last few weeks. There's a shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair oil (plus some styling products that I haven't tried) that all contain Marula Oil - the powerful oil that's quickly overtaking Argan.

I've been enjoying the new Rekorderlig cider cocktail cans so much recently, and they have been the drink of choice for my husband and I's date nights at home. Rekorderlig asked me to share with you how I've been enjoying these drinks, so I thought that rounding up my summer date night at home ideas would be an inspiring way to do it.

Last week I was invited for a press lunch with Albert Roux OBE at his restaurant at Crossbasket Castle just outside Glasgow in Scotland. However, I didn't realise just how small and intimate an affair it was going to be - there were just two other journalists dining with us. I was sat next to Albert, and the chance to have proper time with this culinary genius (who is now in his 80s) over a near two and a half-hour lunch was a 'money can't buy' experience.

If you haven't seen this collection yet, where have you been?! It has been all over the internet lately, and rightly so, as it's stunning. Urban Decay have created this collection in partnership with Disney to mark the release of Tim Burton's Alice Through The Looking Glass; the sequel to his 2010 hit Alice In Wonderland. I wanted to share my review of the palette and the five lipsticks in this collection with you.

Once again I'm bringing you a review of this month's Look Fantastic Beauty Box* (from £11.25 per month). The May 2016 box is a good one, but I think some subscribers may feel there is too much of the same product inside- it does have a couple too many face moisturisers in there, but the Wet Brush will definitely be its saving grace and will stop too many complaints.
I have drunk excessive amounts of Diet Coke since I discovered how much I liked it during my final years at university. For a while before that, it was Lucozade- so I’ve always soothed myself with the fact that my fizzy drink addiction could be much worse. As well as tasting nice and being refreshing, I also associate Diet Coke with being comforting- an ice-cold glass of it, to me, is like being enveloped in a hug.

Happy Friday! It's time for another face mask review from me, and this week it's the Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask ($8 from Sephora). It's designed to be used by those with dry, dull, dehydrated and sensitive skin.

A good steak is usually a meat lovers favourite food, but they can be so difficult to cook to perfection - mine always end up burnt on the outside. Jamie Oliver's Executive Chef Steve Pooley from his restaurant Barbecoa has shared his tips with you below and I hope they help you next time it's your turn in the kitchen...

Earlier this week I headed along to The Academy of Makeup Scotland to watch a SS16 makeup seminar with top commercial makeup artist Kat McSwein, who is also a tutor at the academy. She took us through how to create a glowy summer makeup look, gave her application tips and tricks and shared her favourite products. I feverishly wrote everything down and captured lots of images to share with you.

I am so excited for summer and the warmer days, so I'm thinking about all of the fashion pieces I want. I'm really into things that are bright and colourful at the moment, and if they have pompoms or tassels on them, all the better. I wanted to share my summer 2016 designer fashion wishlist with you so that it might inspire you with what to get spendy on...
111SKIN is a luxury skincare brand by Dr Yannis Alexandrides of Harley Street. The new 111SKIN Meso Infusion Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C Mirco Mask* (£100 for 4-pack from SpaceNK) is really unique. It's an at-home alternative to clinical Meso Therapy (the injection of Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C straight into the skin with needles) and it's basically as close as you can get to the expensive treatment without going into a clinic.

Oh man, I don't even know where to start with this review- in fact, I've put off writing it for months. The reason is that I never write about products that I completely don't like- there usually has to be something good about them for me to feature them. However, as this device is incredibly expensive and since I trialled it with my Mum so carefully for 8 weeks, I thought it was worth sharing it with you to stop you wasting your money.

Last month I got sent the first edition of the Glittery Hands craft subscription box* (£15 per month- but 20% off your first box before June 1st 2016 with code GLITTER12) and it was mermaid themed. It inspired me to create this ombre glitter mermaid mirror for my bathroom by upcycling an old boring wooden one that I had lying around. This is definitely a project for kitsch and glitter lovers everywhere!

I am obsessed with this new serum and I've been using it religiously for a month now. The No.7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum (£27 from Boots) has so many skincare benefits and I've been over-the-moon with the results that I've been getting from it.
Bobbi Brown's summer collection Beach Nudes* is stunning and contains everything you need for a glowy sun-kissed look. There are two matte bronzers in the collection, three sheer shimmering lipsticks and three eyeshadow quads that contain a mix of matte, sparkle and shimmer shades. I've been trying out some key pieces from the collection.
