YSL BEAUTÉ SPRING 2017 THE STREET & I COLLECTION PALETTES

Yves Saint Laurent Beauté The Street & I Collection

The palettes from Yves Saint Laurent Beauté's new The Street & I Collection are so cool that I had to share them with you. There's an eye palette with 5 eye-catching shades and a stunning blush palette - both with grafitti slogans perfect for Valentine's Day.

Their limited edition Keep an Eye on Me Couture Palette Collector* (£42.50 from YSL Beauty) contains pink and orange shades that might look scary to a lot of people, but can actually be used in both really subtle and bold ways. All of the shades, except the dark grey, have a hint of shimmer to them, especially the pale champagne pink (which makes a great brow bone highlighter). The matte dark grey is the only shade in the palette that I don't like as it's very chalky and has a lot of fallout - not something that's workable for a shade you would want to use as a liner. The colour choice is designed to encapsulate the shades of downtown streets in an evening cityscape.

The limited edition I Have a Blush on You Face Palette Collector* (£42.50 from Feel Unique) contains one coral blusher shade with a cool brickwork design on its surface. This is a really nice colour, with a creamy and very blendable formula. You can wear it lightly for a subtle orange flush, or you can really build up the intensity for a more dramatic look.

What do you think of these and the daytime look I created?
