good makeup setting sprays

I wanted to share these two amazing makeup setting sprays with you as you really do need them in your life. They will keep your makeup in place all day or all night.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

OK, so this first product isn’t technically new, but the packaging and bottle design has had an overhaul; giving it a new look. If you have tried and loved the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray* (£23.50 from Urban Decay), rest assured that the formula is the same. You do, however, have a sleek new bottle that won’t get so dirty as the old one did.

This is a light, weightless spray that mists evenly over your face to keep your makeup locked in for up to 16 hours. I haven’t tested it for this long, but it does keep my makeup in place and flawless for the whole length of a day or night out; even if I’m running about mad! Urban Decay developed this setting spray in partnership with Skindinavia to create a formula that’s suitable for all skin types and that can handle multiple weather conditions and temperatures. You can really rely on this spray.

Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Makeup Setting Mist

The new Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Makeup Setting Mist* (£20 from Debenhams) is such a great spray – weightless, continuous and fine. It has a cucumber-infused formula that refreshes the skin and soothes the skin too. It’s suitable for those with both dry and oily skin and it really does keep your makeup in place all day, without the heavy or sticky feeling that some other sprays have. It has an eco-friendly bottle, so it’s kind to the environment too. It claims to keep makeup in place for a massive 24 hours, but I don’t think anyone would need this.

Have you tried either of these?
