LOS ANGELES TRIP PLUS-SIZE FASHION WISHLIST

You may have seen on my social media that I’ve suffered a bereavement that has broken my heart. So, in order to get some rest and sunshine, I’ve booked to go to Los Angeles next week for two weeks.

This is the first holiday that I have had in nearly 5 years, due to my personal family circumstances (which led to my recent bereavement); so I really want to enjoy this holiday and take the time to re-assess my life. A trip abroad means new clothes, so I wanted to put together a wishlist for you of items that I intend to pick up over the next few days to pack in my case.

Quiz Curve Light Blue and Pink Flower Embroidered Shirt Dress, £29.99, Quiz | Quiz Curve Bardot Bow Detail Tunic Dress, £26.99, Quiz | Simply Be Multi Stripe Cami Dress, £29, Simply Be | Office Hoxton 2 Rose Gold Glitter Sandals, £28, Office | Boohoo Plus Brooke Metallic Plunge Swimsuit, £20, Boohoo | ASOS Dandelion PomPom Trainers, £25, ASOS | Lesara Metallic Print Oversize T-Shirt, £12.99, Lesara | Primark Cream Floral Detail Crossbody Bag, £7, Primark | Miu Miu 10NS TK6BX1 Pinks Glitter Sunglasses, £179, Pretavoir

I love the look of the new plus-size Curve collection at Quiz. They have lovely embroidered motif pieces – a trend I am still enjoying. The Primark bag is such a bargain too.

I’ve got to opt for a bardot cut top as they are great for the hot weather and I love the colour of this one from Quiz. Over at Simply Be, I think that this vertical striped dress is so flattering and figure-slimming. You could wear it out during the day, or pop it over your swimsuit to go to the pool. Swimming costume-wise, i’m eyeing up a very ‘Hollywood’ purple metallic number from Boohoo.

Talking of going to the pool or the beach, I love these glittery sandals. They look like they give support and offer comfort, but have a bit of sparkle too. Also, are the Miu Miu pink glitter sunglasses not just the ultimate in eyewear?

What pieces do you like the look of?
