Bionsen are mineral deodorants made with Japanese spa minerals (Zinc, Copper and Manganese; which are long-considered to have health-giving properties). These deodorants are aluminium-free. Basically, anti-pespirants use aluminium salts to block sweat glands to stop you sweating; whereas deodorants allow you to sweat but prevent odours by killing the bacteria. Bionsen did not want to include any chemicals which prevent the body’s natural processes i.e. by blocking glands.

It is a natural safe deodorant, and also free of parabens; so it can be used on even the most sensitive skin. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and both the spray and the roll-on leave me smelling fresh all day.
