I have rather a large lipstick collection, so I thought i’d share with you my top five lipcolours from US brands.
Buxom Full Bodied Lipstick in Menace, $21.00, Sephora
This rich wine shade is packed with pigment and it applies smoothly due to its ultra-creamy formula. It plumps my lips without the ‘nippy’ feeling, and the colour lasts all day.
Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in Backstage Bambi, $19.00, Sephora
This matte liquid lipstick just doesn’t budge once it’s on, and has such a strong hot pink colour. It’s not one for when your lips are dry though.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF15 in Rose, $22.50, Sephora
This sheer berry rose tinted treatment protects your lips from UV rays. It smells of lime, and blends reparative oils (such as blackcurrant) and waxes with real sugar to soften and shield.
Tarte LipSurgence Lip Luster in Glitzy, $24.00, Sephora
This has a delicious peppermint scent, and is a pretty natural antique pink lip tint with a touch of shimmer. It has been proven to increase moisture by 6000%. I love it for a flush of colour and ultimate hydration.
Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Toast, $24.00, Sephora
We all love Nars’ matte lip pencils and this is a great alternative. It’s a gorgeous highly pigmented matte lipstick that also has anti-aging benefits
I picked these up in a Sephora store; but if you are in the UK like me and not planning any trips, check out Ebay, Amazon and Rose’s Beauty Store to see if you can pick these up at reasonable prices.
