It’s Aromatherapy Awareness Week this week, so I couldn’t not share with you my current favourite bath oil. Aromatherapy beauty products are part of my life several times daily due to my anxiety disorder- from my daily soak, to relaxing body lotions, pillow sprays, hand creams and temple roller balls.
At the moment I am loving the Pure Lochside Calm and Soothe Bath Oil (£26). It comes in a luxurious glass bottle, so it looks nice in my bathroom too. Pure Lochside is a Scottish spa brand created by experienced aromatherapist Fiona Tutte. Their products are paraben-free, and contain 100% pure plant oils; plus local Scottish ingredients where possible.
This oil (which was actually Pure Lochside’s first product) smells heavenly, and contains Organic Black Pepper and Majoram to soothe tired muscles; plus High Altitude Lavender, Eucalyptus, Chamomile and Highland Pine to calm the mind.
I’ve been putting a capful in my bath at night (under the running tap), and it has really been helping me wind down and switch off for sleep.
