I love cream formula blushes in the Summer. They leave a dewy, fresh-faced finished and are easy to apply. I feel they have better staying power than powder blushes too, as the cream formulas often contain stains that you’d need a scrubbing brush to get off instantly.
I wanted to share with you the top 5 cream blushes that i’ve been enjoying this Summer. Tweet me with your recommendations too! The make-up bag you see is my brand new Sew Lomax Black Lipstick Pouch, that I had personalised with my name embroidered on the back. I love it!

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in Cherub
This is such a pretty sheer pastel pink. It gives just a delicate flush of colour, so it’s perfect for fair skin like mine. A little goes a long way with this as the liquid is very watery (which makes it a dream to blend too).

This is definitely a cheek stain- once you’ve applied it, this stuff isn’t budging for a long time. You need to blend quickly. It’s a gorgeous coral colour, and smells deliciously fruity.
Kiko Water Blush in Berry Sparkle
I can’t find this on sale anywhere sadly. It was a present. It is such a great cream blusher with a strong colour that blends easily. You don’t need much to get a beautiful and natural flush of colour.
Chantecaille Cheek Cream Refill in Lovely
This is a velvety-soft, almost fluffy in texture, cream in a pan. It is highly pigmented and glides on, so it’s easy to apply too much. Start with blending just a little, and then build up until you reach the colour level you need.
Benefit Cosmetics Fine One One
This blush is a pink and coral mix with a highlight. It comes in a twist-up stick form, and you apply it in a circular swirling motion along your cheek; building up as much intensity as your desire. It’s so easy and fool-proof, and leaves you with a healthy-looking and shimmering Summer cheek.
