Bargain home decor and lifestyle store group Wilko has some great Christmas room decorations and parcel wrapping essentials this year, and they are all organised into different themes. I popped into their Christmas press day, so I wanted to share my favourite styles with you.

Pixie is a cute, almost child-like theme of red, white and pastel blue. It has bold and simple prints such as polka dots and often playful hand-written typography. This would be great in a child’s bedroom- keeping it bright and cheerful but also adding the festive element too.

Their Wild Wood theme focuses on all things natural. The colour palette of browns, creams and reds, are perfectly suited to the rustic textures and nature elements such as wood, twigs and hessian. Think owls, stags and other woodland creatures, with a bit of traditional folk print thrown in. I see Christmases spent in Swiss wood cabins when I look at this collection.

Odyssey is the luxurious theme. Think of magical underwater lands filled with iridescent purples, blues, greens and pearls. Everything shimmers and sparkles with rich tones and metallic finishes. If The Little Mermaid did Christmas, it would look like this.
