I have been wearing the below eye make-up look literally every day for the past couple of weeks. I like to wear a bold lip in Autumn and Winter, so this simple and subtle smokey eye is perfect.
I’ve been using the original Urban Decay Naked Palette (£37 from House of Fraser) for this look, as it has a great mix of both matte and shimmer shades.

Shades: Naked, Buck, Sidecar |
First, I prepare my eyelids with the Urban Decay Anti-Aging Primer Potion (you can read my review on this HERE). This creates a good base for the shadows and helps them stay put for longer.
Next, I apply the lightest shade (Naked)- a matte- all over my lids and up to my brow bone. I’m just using the little brush that comes with the palette to show you what you can do without additional brushes.
I then apply the darkest shade (Buck)- also a matte- to the outer corners of my eyes until halfway along the crease. This needs to be blended in seamlessly for added dimension to your eyes.
Finally, pack a pretty shimmer shade (Sidecar) onto your lids and if you have a highlighter, you can also pop some along you brow bone.
