I have read hundreds of reviews and seen thousands of swatches, so i’ve finally given into the hype and decided to see for myself what all the fuss is about budget brand Makeup Revolution’s eyeshadow palettes.

I have Salvation Girl Panic– a good mixture of basic nudes, warm pinks and purples and some pastels (perfect for Spring); and the I Heart Makeup Death By Chocolate palette- a pretty selection of browns, golds, bronzes and deep purples (it looks like a smokey eye lover’s dream).
On first appearances, you get a lot of shades for your money, and the packaging is sturdy with a quality feel, unlike the likes of MUA’s palettes. There is also a good mixture of shimmer and matte shades, and of light and dark colours. One palette really does cover all bases for a fabulous price.

The formula is both palettes is very creamy- a little goes a long way. There isn’t too much fallout, and they are really pigmented and blend really easily; so you could do a subtle or a stark colour look with no trouble at all.

I am really impressed with these, and am looking forward to trying one of their intense bright coloured palettes for closer to the Summer time. These eyeshadows remind me a lot of the quality of Sleek MakeUP’s palettes; which I love.
Girl Panic is £6 and Death By Chocolate is £7.99, available online or from a Superdrug store.
What Makeup Revolution palettes do you have and love? I kind of like how Death by Chocolate is chocolate-scented too- quirky!
