Lush have done it again with their fabulous seasonal releases- their Valentine’s Day collection of products both look and smell gorgeous, and I love them. I’ve been trying a selection of them, and they are all sweet smelling and heavenly.
Heart Throb Bubbleroon, £3.65
This looks stunning, and it’s design is based on a French macaroon- two hearts sandwiched with a glitter filling. It’ll turn your bath a gorgeous bright red and contains skin softening organic shea butter. The scent is one you’ll have smelt before if you are a Lush fan- it’s last year’s African Paradise Body Conditioner release. It’s not as pungent as the tub of this is; but still has a deep earthy scent.
Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar, £3.25
This new product is already a cult one- with photos of it all over social media by lovers of all things kitsch. This makes for such a relaxing bath with its Lavender and Neroli scent. It’ll turn your bath a light sparkly pink with floating candy stars (like the ones you put on top of cupcakes).
The Kiss Lip Scrub, £5.50
The flavour and smell of this is very much like their Bubblegum Lip Scrub, except it’s red with edible red hearts and cupcake sprinkles; instead of Bubblegum’s pink. Very sweet, and very exfoliating.
Cupid’s Love Soap, £4.25
This red, heart shaped, soap is super fruity with strong hints of passionfruit and fig, along with heady Bergamot and Rosewood. I would have prefered it was purely a fruity scent; but I still really enjoy using it. The soap contains soya yoghurt to soften the skin too.
Prince Charming Shower Gel, £4.75
This creates a gorgeous decadent shower experience. It has a sweet base with marshmallow and vanilla scents, and is also fresh and cooling due to the addition of pomegranate juice and grapefruit. You’ll never have smelt this scent in Lush before, as it also has Sandalwood and floral geranium in it too. Your skin is softened as you use with almond oil. It’s a real mixed bag scent that won’t be for everyone; but definitely go into store and give it a sniff.
Floating Flower Bath Bomb, £3.50
This colourful bath bomb will create a happy multi-coloured bath that’s relaxing too with its Jasmine and Ylang Ylang scent. I really like this, and along with the Unicorn Horn, it’s my favourite.
