I can’t believe we are into March already. As usual, I want to share with you the beauty products I’ve been loving, and using the most, this past month. I’ve been ill for literally all of February, with two nasty cold-like viruses back to back; so this lot of favourites is low on makeup and heavy on skincare since I’ve spent 90% of my time in bed.
Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash, £19.15
This body wash really packs a punch smell-wise. It’s very pungent (Tea Tree) and isn’t something I would normally use; but being ill, this antiseptic product has been a God-send. I’ve been filling my bath with it as a bubble bath/body wash and just lying there inhaling the sinus-unblocking aroma, and letting the Tea Tree make me feel incredibly clean and refreshed instead of just a giant snotbag. If you are feeling under the weather, this is a great pick-me-up.
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask, £22
I did a full review of this (here) just a few weeks ago, so I’m not going to overly repeat myself. I am obsessed with this product, and can’t remember ever liking a new product release more. You apply it to your face at night and wash it off in the morning- you will have plump and ultra-soft skin as a result.
L’Oreal Brow Artist Pencil, £5.49
This is a great brow pencil that is the perfect shade for my brows (Dark Brunette). You can also get it in a lighter brown (Brunette) and in Blonde. I can draw really fine lines into my brows with this to fill them in, brush the hairs with the handy brush and then set the look with the wax end of the pencil- it’s my whole eyebrow routine in one compact product.
Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask, £7.99
This deep pore cleansing mud mask is a great treat for your skin. I use mine once a week to remove impurities and excess oil, and also for its anti-aging properties- it stimulates cell regeneration. It is a very thick and cooling formula that can be washed off once it has hardened on the skin. You will really feel this one working.
Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Hypnotist, £16
You can see me wearing this really pretty iridescent lipgloss in another post (here). It catches the light beautifully, and looks great on its own (very shiny) or over a lipstick to add dimension. It isn’t sticky either, so is very pleasant to use. My lips have been really sore from being ill, so this (and lip balm) is all I have been wearing.
Handy Tip: Check this page before you order as there are usually some good discount codes to get money off.
