As you may know, I usually get my brows waxed and tinted by Benefit Cosmetics. However, when HD Brows told me they were opening a new Scottish training academy in Glasgow, and invited me to get my brows done there by one of their celebrity brow artists, I had to check them out as I had let my brows get vastly out of control and untamed.
HD Brows promise individually tailored brow treatments, to give everyone a perfect arch. The treatment lasts around 30-45 minutes and involves tinting, waxing, threading and plucking; before finishing the brows off with HD Brows Makeup to make them stand out even more.

I was delighted with the results of the HD Brows treatment- my brows looked amazing and I loved the shape. However, I found the procedure itself rather painful and uncomfortable. I think that the vast amount of threading, waxing and plucking all on top of each other was just too much for my skin. When I got home, I noticed that my skin had been torn on my brow bone, and this took a few days to heal. Your skin may be perfectly able to cope with an HD Brows treatment; but unfortunately mine wasn’t- it was just too intensive.
I will now be maintaining the amazing shape that HD Brows created; but it’s definitely back to my old and gentle favourite Benefit Cosmetics for me. To find out more about HD Brows, visit hdbrows.com.
