I am on holiday this week, so today’s post is from Leanne, blogger at Little Babble. I’ll let her begin…
I’m Leanne and I usually blog over at Little Babble, but for today Laura is letting me guest post here whilst she has a bit of a break! For my guest post I will be writing about what I think is an unsung hero of the face mask world, from one of my favourite skincare brands- Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask (£23 from Boots).
With the changeable weather at this time of year (sunshine one minute then being whipped with wind the next – what’s that all about?) skin is often in need of a helping hand when it comes to the moisture department. It’s at times like these that I reach for the Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask as it’s absolutely perfect for giving skin a moisture boost.
The mask has the consistency of a very thick moisturiser and smells divine thanks to the apricot kernel oil that it contains. I use this mask whenever I feel the need to; which is usually around once a fortnight. I start by making sure that my skin is clean, and then smother my face in the mask; putting the focus on any really dehydrated areas. As the name suggests, you only need to leave this mask on for ten minutes, but if I have the time I will often leave it on for a little longer.
After rinsing off this mask, my skin feels much softer and any dry patches aren’t so dry anymore. Origins Drink Up makes my skin look much less dull, and helps my makeup go on much smoother and last longer. I really recommend this mask for anyone whose skin needs a moisture boost, no matter your skin type.
I hope you enjoyed this post about one of my favourite face masks. Thank you for reading and thank you Laura for letting me take over your blog for today!
