I am on holiday for a week, so today’s post is from Stephanie, blogger at Merry Musing. I’ll leave you in her capable hands…
Now, if you’re anything like me, then you probably put your hair through a lot- too much heat, too much styling and definitely too much product. Sound familiar? I thought it might; which is why I wanted to share with you all my top three hair masks, for when you want to treat your hair to a bit of TLC.
I only use hair masks once a week, normally during my Sunday evening pamper sessions. The candles come out, I read a magazine and I treat my locks to an intensive hair mask. Afterwards, my hair just feels healthy and normal again. It’s soft, smooth and nourished; which is how I like my hair to look and feel. So, let me share with you my three favourites…
Toni & Guy Nourish Reconstruction Mask £6.49, Boots
Now if you would describe your hair as distressed at times, then this is the mask for you. I use this when I feel like I have seriously abused my hair – through over styling and using too much heat. This mask works by providing advanced repair and replenishment for damaged hair. After using it my hair feels smooth and frizz free and it smells delicious.
Percy & Reed Totally TLC Hydrating Hair Mask £20, SpaceNK
This mask is a bit pricier than the other two, but I’m sucker for cute packaging and hair products don’t come much prettier than the Percy & Reed range. The first thing to mention with this one is the gorgeous smell- it’s fruity with hints of coconut, mango and Aloe Vera. This tends to be my everyday hair mask for when my hair is in relatively good condition with no immediate issues. It leaves my hair feeling softer and shinier. Plus, it comes with the cutest hummingbird shower cap to use with the mask.
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque £4.19, Boots
Although this mask is recommended for daily use, I only use this when my hair has been seriously frizzy and quite temperamental. The formula in this mask is a little thicker to others I use, which means a little goes a long way. After using this, my hair always feel nourished, a lot easier to manage and most importantly, no longer frizzy.
So, these have been my three favourite hair masks. What are yours?
