I adore my new gold vermeil SINTAMANI Domed Ring (£72 from www.jewelstreet.com). It is such a simple, but eye-catching, piece of jewellery with a unique 3D design. JewelStreet are an online jewellery boutique that stock hundreds of independent quality designers’ items all in one convenient place. I fell in love with this ring as soon as I saw it on the SINTAMANI section of the site.

SINTAMANI make jewellery that is crafted in the UK but inspired by historic Indian Jali architectural design. This Domed Ring is from their Star Lotus series, and is made from 925 silver that is plated in matte 24ct gold. I love how it looks so dainty on my hand.

As well as with the designs, SINTAMANI also put great thought into the packaging of their jewellery to complete the experience. Their pieces come in red velvet gift bags with gold trim and yellow ties- this symbolises the rich colours of Indian bridal saris, and the yellow thread tied around a bride’s neck during Hindu wedding ceremonies.
