Nearly two weeks ago, I was invited by Clydesdale Bank to the last night of Take That‘s Glasgow concerts at the SSE Hydro arena. This was very much a VIP experience, as my seat was a comfy red sofa in a carpeted box- aka The Vault. I am more of a fan of Take That‘s brilliant modern music releases, than I am of them in the ’90s.
Clydesdale Bank sponsor The Vault at the Hydro- it’s a luxurious and cosy place to watch concerts from as it has epic views, and even has a personal waiter service (all you need to do is press a button). The Vault removed two of my major bug-bears about concert going- people standing up in the seats in-front of me, and queuing for drinks at the bar. I don’t think I can ever view a concert in a regular way again after experiencing The Vault.
If you have a ticket for a concert at the SSE Hydro, there is a chance you too can experience the luxury of The Vault. On the Clydesdale Bank website, you can enter your details into a prize draw, and your seats might just be upgraded for that VIP red sofa. It’s free to enter, so you’ve got nothing to lose by trying.
After the concert, I did some filming about my experience in The Vault, as the Take That tour team packed up for Dublin behind me. It was an amazing night.
