BEAUTY REVIEW: PHILIP KINGSLEY ELASTICIZER INTENSIVE TREATMENT

June 23, 2015 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

    Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer

I do love a good hair mask for a really intensive conditioning and repairing treat. The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is an iconic treatment, and the leader in the world of pre-shampoo conditioning treatments.

The science behind it is that hair is stretches when wet. However, constant shampooing and styling of hair strains it, and instead of being supple like it should be when wet, it can break instead. The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer treatment blasts the hair’s cuticle with moisture so that it restores its stretch-ability, and makes your locks super-shiny too. Using it regularly (i.e. once per week) will build up the strength of your hair, and so reduce breakages.

I really like this treatment as I have very thin hair, and this doesn’t weigh it down like a lot of conditioners and hair masks do. It doesn’t have a scent either, so will be to everyone’s tastes. I apply a lot of this into my wet hair (from about an inch below the roots to the tips), cover with a shower cap and let it do its work for 20 Minutes while I wash and soak in the bath. My hair feels stronger, shinier and bouncier after each use.

I have a special offer on the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer on my The Libbie Club store page- if you purchase the 150ml size, you get a free 60ml Philip Kingsley Maximiser Weatherproof Hairspray free!
