    MAY FAVOURITES

June 2, 2015 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

It’s time for my monthly beauty favourites again! There’s something for everyone in May’s favourites, from haircare and skincare, to nail polish and makeup. I hope you discover a new love too.

Superdrug Coconut Water & Coconut Oil Hair Masque

First up, I’ve been loving the brand new cruelty-free Superdrug Coconut Water & Coconut Oil Hair Masque (£3.99 from www.superdrug.com). This is such a great budget buy, and it smells good enough to eat. Pop this on your locks for around ten minutes, before shampooing, for brilliant hydration and shine. I’ve been using this weekly all month.

    Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm

I’ve also been obsessed with the super-cute travel-size version of the cult Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm You get it in the Emma Hardie Starter Kit (£23 from www.cultbeauty.co.uk), and it’s the perfect size for jetsetting. This orange-scented cleansing balm turns to a gorgeous oil when it makes contact with damp skin. It is amazing at removing makeup; literally melting it off.

Nails Inc Luxe Boho Nail Polish in Primrose Hill Walk Swatches

On my nails, I have been addicted to the new Nails Inc Luxe Boho Nail Polish in Primrose Hill Walk (£15 from www.veryexclusive.co.uk). This glitter top coat is packed full of chunky purple, peach and white flakes and glitter to resemble a bohemian flower explosion. I pop another clear top coat over the top of this too, as the chunky glitter can be jaggy and catch on clothing if you don’t.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick in Bold Red

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick in Bold Red Swatch

I got this stunning Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick (£21 from www.houseoffraser.co.uk) from Elizabeth Arden to mark their support of the 70th anniversary of VE Day in May. The shade Bold Red is the perfect classic ‘war time’ matte red, and i’ve been wearing it constantly as it goes perfectly with my pale skin and brunette hair.

Lottie London Blend & Snap Sponge

I love applying my foundation with beauty blenders sponges, and I discovered a brilliant one last month- the Lottie London Blend & Snap Sponge (£5.49 from www.superdrug.com). I love this as it applies foundation so flawlessly, and also comes in a handy re-sealable plastic pouch. I use it dry to dab and press in my liquid foundation, but you can also dampen the sponge first too.

Did you make any amazing new product discoveries in May?
