I thought I’d share with you the Sephora-branded products that my friend Kate sent me over from California for my birthday. I am Sephora-obsessed as their range is so amazing, and i’m so annoyed we don’t have one in the UK despite Europe having so many.
I have wanted to try the single-use Sephora sheet face masks ($24 for 5 or $6 each) for so long, and they are just as great as I’d hoped they would be. I haven’t tried them all yet; but the nourishing and balancing Honey mask is excellent. It is really gentle on the skin, and left it feeling very hydrated, calm and healthy. You apply the wet fibre masks to your face and leave them there for 15 minutes, before peeling them off and rubbing the excess product into your skin without rinsing. I can’t wait to try the toning and revitalising Ginseng mask next- I think I’ll wait until I’ve had a really bad nights sleep before using this one the following morning.
I also got one of their single-use eye mask sets- the Lotus variety for moisturising and soothing ($5). This one is so nice after a tiring day; especially a hot Summer’s day, as it leaves my eye area looking refreshed and rested. The eye masks look like every other eye mask you will have seen- you just apply them under your eyes and they stick onto your skin.
My friend also really kindly sent me the Sephora birthday Beauty Insider gift ($FREE) that they teamed up with Nars for. It’s a set of two mini Nars lip pencils- the Velvet Matte Cruella (the most perfect red), and the Satin Rikugien (a gorgeous your lips but better brown-toned pink shade). Nars lip pencils are brilliant, and this is such a cute and exclusive set.
I also got one of the Sephora Ribbon Hair Ties ($1.50) in the shade Rose Quartz. This is so comfortable to wear, especially at night. It hold my hair up really well and is such a pretty colour.
Wet | Dry |
Finally, I got sent one of the Sephora Colourful Mirror Eyeshadows in the shade Queen For A Day ($12). This such a beautiful gunmetal shade with gold undertones. I haven’t seen a metallic shadow quite like it before, and it looks fantastic both wet and dry.
