As you’ll know if you read my blog regularly, I am Lavender-obsessed; so when I saw this collection from Scottish Fine Soaps, I just had to try it. From their Larch & Lavender line-up (that smells like a Scottish woodland in Spring), I have the body butter, the reed diffuser and the hand & nail cream.
Scottish Fine Soaps‘ Larch & Lavender collection has a beautiful and relaxing smell. A strong hint of Lavender mixes with a woody bark and light florals. I’m not usually a fan of really floral scents; but this is very subtle, and is actually a nice gentle twist on the traditional Lavender fragrances I usually use.
Scottish Fine Soaps started as a family business over 40 years ago, and their products are still all made in Scotland, in their Stirlingshire factory. The packaging on this Larch & Lavender collection is really luxurious in look and feel and would make the most gorgeous gifts. I currently have the reed diffuser (£22) in my bathroom, and it looks very stylish.
The body butter (£8.95), which comes in a stunning glass jar, has a beautiful whipped texture and it’s light and non-greasy. I love to apply this at night after a bath as it is so relaxing, moisturising and a real treat to use. Similarly, I love the hand & nail cream (£6.95) as this is very light in texture too- i’m not a fan of hand creams that feel like they’ve left a sticky coating on your skin.
Have you tried anything from Scottish Fine Soaps before?
