It’s true that I mostly wear my hair tied up in one way or another; but when I leave it down, I like it to have a really messy and textured look. I’d heard good things about the Windle & Moodie hair salon in London, so I was keen to try something from their range of hair care products and I opted for their Texture Cream.
The Windle & Moodie Texture Cream cost £15 but you get a LOT for your money. It comes in a large tube that is beautifully designed with a mustard yellow graphic print. How much of it you use at a time will depend on your hair length and the look that you want to achieve; but I only need about a 5p sized amount, rubbed between my palms and then worked through my dry hair’s mid-lengths and roots to get some extra volume and a messy beach look.
I like my hair, when it’s down, to look lived-in and not perfectly straightened and styled. This cream definitely achieves that without being sticky or weighing down your hair. It doesn’t make your hair look like it has product in it either, and has a subtle, fresh shampoo-like smell. I can’t wait to try more products from the range.
