If you are going on a long-haul flight, what you take in your carry-on bag is so important; especially if you have somewhere to be right after leaving the plane. We all have our favourite beauty products. but often don’t think about the little emergency essentials such as sewing kits, spare earring backs or nail polish remover wipes. The Emma Lomax SOS Travel Kits (£30) have all of these and so much more, to cover any eventuality.
I really like these kits; but I will start of by saying that I think they are very overpriced for what they are. I wouldn’t be willing to pay more than £15 to £20 now that I’ve seen inside (as I could make one myself for less), and these retail at £30 at www.emmalomax.com. They are extremely useful though. I also like that there is lots of room in the clear embroidered PVC bags to put your own beauty essentials in too, so that you don’t have to carry multiple pouches.
In each kit you get a portable phone battery charger (it comes with a cable for charging the charger, but you’ll need to bring your own cable to charge your phone), a nail polish remover wipe, an antiperspirant deodorant wipe, an antibacterial wipe, kirby grips and a hair tie, an emery board, a miniature sewing kit with a safety pin, a plaster, hairbrush, spare earring backs, tweezers (you’ll have to remove these on international flights), a moisturising lip balm, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a tampon, ear plugs and a mirror.
What do you think of these kits?
