It’s that time again, for my monthly beauty favourites. All of these I have literally been using daily throughout July, so it wasn’t even slightly taxing to choose my favourites this month…
Avon Anew Clinical E-Defence Multi-Shield SPF 50 Day Lotion, £20, Avon
This is such a nice facial SPF. Even if my skincare or makeup has SPF in it, I do like to apply a seperate one in the sunnier months of the year. This is a moisturiser too, but I just use it solely as SPF protection. It’s light, non-greasy and absorbs easily. It’s scentless too and really pleasant to use.
Temporary Metallic Tattoos, From £1.99, eBay
I have been sticking these on myself like nobody’s business all month as a cool alternative to jewellery. I’ve been loving wearing them as rings and bracelets. You can spend more and get quality branded ones that will last longer; but I’ve been liking cheap one from eBay a lot and I take them off at the end of the day.
DIY Nails Nailcals, £6, ASOS
If you look on my Instagram, you’ll see that I’ve had nail art decals on my nails all month. They’ve been from DIY Nails, and their range is extensive. I particularly love the pick and mix sweets!
Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Impeccable Finish Powder, £24, Urban Retreat
This is a perfect translucent powder for everyone. It’s so light, and sets makeup and removes shine really well. I use a brush to apply- I don’t like the little puff that comes with it. It just makes my skin look that little bit more flawless.
Bare Minerals Limited Edition Pop of Passion Blush Balm in Posy, £20, Bare Minerals
This is such a lightweight blusher with a blendable balm-like texture. It’s light and hydrating on the skin, so is perfect for the Summer months. It literally melts into your skin, has great colour pay-off (that leaves a gorgeous stain on your cheeks) and even contains skin conditioning ingredients such as Vitamin E. I love this pretty soft pink shade.
What have you been loving in July?
