Origins are doing their bit for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month by turning their Make A Difference Rejuvenating Hand Treatment cream (£19.50) pink.
The limited edition pink packaging, available now, features The Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation’s Pink Ribbon on the front and contains the same rich formula inside. Origins are donating £5 for every tube sold; so by buying one, you can really make a difference.
The cream itself provides intense care for your hands by hydrating and moisturising them, and by evening out the skin’s tone. It contains lots of natural ingredients such as Rose of Jericho (to help the skin retain moisture and reverse past environmental damage), Meadowfoam Seed Oil (to build the skin’s barrier) and Ancient Oceanic Flora (to improve the appearance of the skin after damage from past UV exposure).
I can’t describe the smell of this cream exactly; but to me, it smells very orangey. It’s not greasy, but you can feel that you have something on your hands- this is from the Meadowfoam Seed Oil that leaves a soft velvety coating as a barrier to the skin. It immediately hydrates and leaves your hands feeling very smooth. Over time, you will see an improvement to the texture and tone of the skin too. It’s very effective and I definitely recommend that you pick one up to nurture your hands. Do it now though, so that you can support breast cancer research at the same time!
