Clinique are always good for gifts with purchase, and when I bought the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm amongst other items recently, I got a travel size pot of the famous Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (£34 from www.debenhams.com). You can use this in several different ways, including as a daily moisturiser; however I prefer to use it as an intensive 5-minute mask to give my skin a boost of hydration.
It has a lightweight and cooling gel texture and it’s one of Clinique’s best selling products. It’s suitable for all skin types and it absorbs quickly, leaving you with plump, soft, hydrated and supple skin from the Vitamin E and Aloe Leaf Water ingredients. If you suffer from winter skin flakiness, tight-feeling skin or dry patches, this will sort you right out as well as protecting your skin from environmental pollutants and calming irritation (there’s chamomile in there as well as a green tea antioxident too).
I apply a generous layer of this all over my face and leave it for five minutes. My skin literally drinks it up and I just pat a tissue over my skin to soak up any excess after the time is up. It contains silicones so I find that it makes an excellent base for makeup and I’ve been using this mask treatment instead of a hydrating primer for weeks now.
Have you tried the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief before?
