    NOVEMBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

December 1, 2015 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

Ooo, it’s less than a month ’til Christmas and time for my monthly beauty favourites. These are the products that I’ve been loving throughout November 2015.

Sleek MakeUP Midas Touch Highlighting Palette

First up, there are two brilliant palettes that I’ve been using all month. The first is the limited edition Sleek MakeUP Midas Touch Highlighting Palette (£9.99 from www.boots.com). It contains four frosty toned highlighters- three powder and one cream (silver). They are all very soft and blendable and I’ve been using the gold and the white shades as highlighters on my cheekbones and on the inner corners of my eyes, and I’ve been using the blue and the silver as eyeshadows. It’s so versatile and so pretty.

Scream & Pout Glitterbomb Be-Jewelled Lip Palette

I’ve also been loving the Scream & Pout Glitterbomb Be-Jewelled Lip Palette (£20 from http://www.fakebakebeauty.co.uk). It is packed with sparkle, so is perfect for the festive season. There are four shades- two well-pigmented lipsticks and two that I would describe as glitter top coats. The berry and red-toned lipsticks are creamy and hydrating on the lips and have great staying power. I’ve been wearing these a lot this month. I’m not so keen on the glitter gloss top coats- one clear and one with a hint of pink- as they are a bit OTT for me. However, for a Christmas party night, these would be great worn over your favourite lippie!

Sleek MakeUP Glitter Me Lip Gloss in Private Jet Swatch

Also on the lip front, a gloss I have been all over this month is the Sleek MakeUP Glitter Me Lip Gloss in Private Jet (£4.99 from www.boots.com). It is such a gorgeous pink-toned red and is full of finely milled glitter. It gives my lips a nice light tint and some festive sparkle.

You can tell that I am in full Christmas mode, as I’ve been bathing in all of Lush Cosmetics’ seasonal offerings. My favourite at the moment in their Golden Wonder Bath Bomb (£3.95 from www.lush.co.uk). When it dissolves it gives you a sparkly turquoise surprise, and its zesty orange and lime scent has been waking me up in the morning.

The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Lightening Foundation Drops

I’ve also been loving The Body Shop’s Shade Adjusting Lightening Foundation Drops (£10 from www.thebodyshop.co.uk) as they do exactly what it says on the tin. I’ve been adding a couple of drops of this light and creamy liquid to my Dermablend foundation that’s a little too dark for me. It’s meant that I’ve been able to get it to exactly my shade with a still perfect formula.

    Pink Travalo Classic

Finally, I have had my new pink Travalo Classic (£10 from www.superdrug.com) permanently on me this month. I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered these before!? In it at the moment is my favourite scent- the Coconut Eau de Toilette from The Body Shop. It’s basically a little travel perfume spray and it’s so easy and quick to add your favourite scent to it- you just lift off the spray cap on your bottle and attached the Travalo pump.

What have you been loving in November?
