There has been a lot of fashion and lifestyle bits and pieces that I have been loving this month, and yes, a good percentage of them are Christmas-themed. I need to start with the most incredible room scent in the entire world- the Crabtree & Evelyn Windsor Forest Room Spray (£12 from www.crabtree-evelyn.co.uk). I was wanting another bottle of this but can’t find it on there anymore. I would not be at all surprised if this sold out very quickly. It smells EXACTLY like a forest of Christmas trees. It’s incredibly realistic and I adore it.
Talking of scents, another I have been loving is the Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane Medium Jar (£18.99 from www.yankeecandle.co.uk). It has a burn time of 65-90 hours and releases a refreshing peppermint and sweet vanilla scent- it’s basically like being in a candy cane factory.
I alwys seem to accumulate lots of new socks at this time of the year- probably due to the fact there is always a pair on my feet in this cold weather. I have been loving two quirky pairs that I got recently- the Chatty Feet Kate Middle-Toe Socks (£7.50 from www.chattyfeet.com) look exactly like the Duchess of Cambridge (LOVING this!) and the Ballet Pump Socks (£3.99 from www.flamingogifts.co.uk) makes it look like you are wearing dainty little pink shoes. Both these pairs are really long too, as I like my socks pulled up high.
Finally, I’ve been loving my new chunky pink pen with a blue-ink rollerball. The Online Highway of Writing Raspberry Rollerball Pen (£24.50 from www.penheaven.co.uk) writes like a dream and I haven’t used a proper refillable ink pen in a long time. Richard Branson said recently that half of today’s 13-19 year olds have never written a physical letter and I was shocked by this. Pen Heaven have launched a campaign called Handwriting Matters to support initiatives that encourage the art of writing- from the basic skills to advanced caligraphy.
