If you have gifts to give this Valentine’s Day, I’ve created three simple kraft gift wrapping ideas with brown paper. Why not give them a go?
To recreate the first look you will need Pritt Stick, brown paper, white A4 paper, a love-themed Project Life card, heart embellishments and ribbon. I made the heart embellishments myself using Nutty Putty, but you’ll find lots of similar things in craft shops like Hobbycraft. Stick the card down with the glue and pop some embellishments on top, then tie your ribbon. Finally, tie on the wooden tag with your loved one’s paper initial stuck onto it.
I also made some lovely wrapping with doillies. For this you will need Pritt Stick, brown paper, red heart dollies, a brown luggage tag, a black Sharpie and pink baker’s twine. Stick on the doillies with the glue so that they overlap some edges to cover the whole parcel, tie with some baker’s twine and attached the tag with your loved one’s initial written on in Sharpie.
For the final look, you need to get your favourite lipstick out. You’ll also need brown paper, some red heart felt bunting and a brown luggage tag. Put your lipstick on and plant some kisses all over the parcel, and one on the tag. Finally, tie the bunting round the parcel for an interesting alternative to ribbon and write a message to your loved one.
Do you like the look of any of these?
