This month’s Look Fantastic beauty box is a good one, so if you don’t already subscribe (£15 for one month), you had better get over there and do it pronto. As you would expect, February’s box is love-themed for Valentine’s Day.
The #LFLOVES box is, as usual, full of brilliant beauty goodies, but this month you also get the March edition of Elle magazine too. Inside the box is a miniature Denman hairbrush on a keyring- the perfect emergency styler after a trip outside during Storm Henry.
There is also a brilliant brow kit in this month’s box. The HI-IMPACT BROWS Eye & Brow Perfector palette (worth £18.99) contains four shades of matte powders to cover all colour needs- there is something here for blondes, redheads, brunettes and black-haired beauties too. As well as being great for filling in your brows, these also make great eyelid crease colours for a smokey eye look.
Another product in the box is the Lord & Berry Matte Lipstick Pencil in Intimacy (worth £10). It’s a great muted brown-toned pink, but I find this quite drying on my lips so I’ve been putting some clear lip balm on top, negating the matte element. It is very long-lasting and doesn’t wear off unevenly.
There are also two travel-size body products in this month’s box, so you can indulge in a pamper session. The Bliss Pink Grapefruit and Aloe Body Butter contains coconut oil and Vitamin E to soften and nourish the skin. It has a lovely sweet and sharp grapefruit scent that will motivate you in the mornings. You also get a travel-size of the MONUspa Relaxing Bali Massage & Body Oil. It has a calming spa-like scent with Almond Seed, Sandalwood and Rosewood oils to nourish the skin and relax your muscles. Apply it to yourself, or get your partner involved for a real Valentine’s treat.
Finally, you get a travel-size bottle of shampoo or conditioner. Not everyone will get the same one, but you will get one from Look Fantastic’s favourite brands- including KMS California, Redken, and Pureology amongst others. In my box, I got the KMS California Color Vitality Conditioner. This smells amazing and helps preserve the vitality of colour-treated hair.
