Personally, I like to give low-cost, handmade or sentimental gifts on Valentine’s Day as I think they mean more; so I thought I would share with you what I am giving my friends and family this year to give you some inspiration.
To my best blogger friends Lori, Lynsay & Ayden I made cute little Valentine’s bundles that I created online at Cheerz and wrapped with felt, fabric and embellishments from the latest Habdash crafty subscription box (£15 per month). I love their Valentine’s-themed box- it’s full of such pretty and useful things to get crafty with. If you want this box, but don’t want to sign up for a subscription, you can buy it as a one-off from Not on the High Street for £15.95.
Cheerz are offering a love-themed box of 30 Polaroid-style photo prints for £13 and you can upload directly from Facebook and Instagram. I chose to print my friends a selection of inspirational quotes and pretty images (from free printables at Oh So Lovely) to decorate their homes with to make them smile every day. I also gave them a strip of photos of us together- Cheerz offer sets of 5 ‘Love Strips’ (£6.50)- where you can compile 5 strips of photos like the ones you get from passport photo booths. Who remembers squeezing into one of them with all your friends before camera phones were invented?! If you want to get these products in time for Valentine’s Day, the 4th February is the last day you can order.
For my husband, I made him some personalised photo gifts from Snapfish. This acrylic photo keyring is just £2.99 and I’ve had it made with a photo of my stepson and I on holiday in Walt Disney World many years ago. You can also create really fun personalised photo occasion cards too.
Will you be giving any of these this Valentine’s Day?
