The Glossybox for March is great. It’s not my subscription box of the month, but it’s definitely a good value for money one. In the March 2016 box you get two full-size products, two samples and two travel-size products- all around the theme of getting your glow on.
First up there’s a beautiful pink and rose gold makeup brush- the Luxie Rose Gold Angled Brush 504 (worth £10.42) is perfect for contouring and is vegan-friendly. I really like this brush as it’s soft and applies product lightly and evenly. Also in the box is a full-size Collection Speedy Highlighter (worth £3.99). I adore this cream stick highlighter- it’s so easy to use, blends beautifully and looks so natural. I just swipe it along my cheekbones, down my nose and on the centre of my forehead then blend it in with my fingers.
The two travel-size products are a shampoo and conditioner from -417. Their Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo & Conditioner (full size worth £16.89) feel really luxurious to use. They contain balancing Dead Sea minerals, vitamins and essential oils to hydrate your hair and give it a real shine. My hair feels so soft and healthy after using these.
Finally, there are two sample skincare products. The first is the Olay Regenerist Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream (full size worth £29.99) is a moisturiser that’s designed to fade discolourisation and give you glowing skin by hydrating and chemically exfoliating. You obviously don’t get enough in the sample for me to be able to really test out its claims, but it does leave my skin soft and feeling nourished.
The other sample is a serum- the Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum (full size worth £28.81) is made with honey and propolis (two stong antiseptic and antibacterial ingredients), as well as the intensely moisturising sea buckthorn oil and Vitamin E. It’s very light and silky in texture and is supposed to improve skin tone and give you glowing skin. Again, I can’t use this for long enough to test this out, but it has been a very nice primer for my makeup as it smoothes the skin.
