Just look at these- aren’t they the most lust-worthy lipsticks?! I’ve been trying out some of the 12 new shades that have recently launched and I love them. The oil-in-stick formula is so hydrating and enjoyable to use, and the tinted sheer glossy finish is so pretty.

The YSL Rouge Beauté Volupte Shine Lipsticks (£26 from YSL) contain six beautiful oils that really care for your lips and allow the colour to just glide on. There’s also pomegranate, macadamia butter, hyaluronic acid, colour pigments and pearl extracts in there too. As well as being visually and physically very pleasing, they also smell amazing too- a lovely, summery and fruity watermelon scent.

The new shades I’ve been trying are 45- Rouge Tuxedo (a bright red that’s designed with party girls in mind), 41- Corail A Porter and 43- Rose Rive Gauche (a light pink and a coral that have been designed for the daytime) and 50- Fuschia Stiletto (a bright fuschia pink that was been created for fun weekends). All of them are beautiful and I’m currently wearing them on rotation. They aren’t the most long-lasting- you do need to reapply after you eat, but I don’t mind this as it means another opportunity to appreciate that beautiful gold bullet.
