I’ve been trying out the range of sheet masks from MaskerAide* (£5 from M&S) recently and I wanted to share two of my favourites with you- they are the perfect party prep and party repair solutions. If you have a big night out planned, pick these two masks up and thank me later.

In terms of the actual mask’s design, they look and feel like a standard sheet mask- there’s no surprises here. They are eco-friendly and Vegan though, plus paraben and mineral oil-free. The packaging is also incredibly cute. There are six masks in the range, that you wear for 10-20 minutes. They have all been created for different purposes, but the ones I’m reviewing today are the Pre Party Prep mask which is designed to brighten, prime and energize the skin ahead of a night out, and the All Nighter Mask to awaken, replenish and refresh the morning after the night before.

The Pre Party Prep mask hydrates and brightens the skin and creates a lovely smooth base for makeup application. It is infused with a silky serum that’s a blend of Argan Oil, Orange Peel Oil and super fruit extracts (to brighten), rice extract and honey. It has an awakening citrus scent too, so if you are flagging before you’ve even got your party dress on, one of these will revive you.

The All Nighter Mask is a fabulous cooling mask that will help out a face that hasn’t had enough rest. It has an awakening peppermint scent from the Peppermint Oil it contains, along with Aloe (to calm), Argan Oil, Heartleaf (to detoxify), honey, super fruit extracts and cactus extract. I find that it firms my skin, de-puffs and leaves it looking healthy and feeling soft.
