Bobbi Brown‘s summer collection Beach Nudes* is stunning and contains everything you need for a glowy sun-kissed look. There are two matte bronzers in the collection, three sheer shimmering lipsticks and three eyeshadow quads that contain a mix of matte, sparkle and shimmer shades. I’ve been trying out some key pieces from the collection.
From left to right, the three Sheer Lip Colors (£20 each) are Peach Sorbet, Boho Bronze and Pink Gold. I love these as they are a really pretty but effortless way to do relaxed summer beauty. These lipsticks are very moisturising and just glide on- they are formulted with Shea Butter, Murumuru Butter and Apricot Kernal Oils to colour, nourish and condition the lips. They aren’t particularly long-lasting, but you wouldn’t expect this from a formula like this- think of them more as beautiful lip balms.
Bobbi has also released two new shades of her much-loved Bronzing Powder (£28.50) for this collection- Stonestreet and the darker and cooler Elvis Duran. Both shades really replicate a natural tan. I’ve been trying Elvis Duran and I really like lightly dusting this over my decolletage. It’s great for contouring too as it blends really well and isn’t too warm.
Finally, let’s marvel at the stunning metallic gold eyeshadow palettes in the collection. How pretty is the packaging?! There are three Sunkissed Eye Palettes (£36) palettes- Sunkissed Pink, Sunkissed Nude and Sunkissed Gold- which all contain a matte cream-coloured and black/dark brown shade as well as two glitter-packed shimmery shades. The palette I have is Sunkissed Nude and I love all of the shades except the dark one as it’s very chalky and difficult to blend. The lighter shades are soft and creamy, and the glittery ones are literally dazzling. They wear really well too.
I think this is the perfect collection for summer holidays in the sun to create a beautiful healthy bronzed look without the danger of sunbathing. Which is your favourite item?
