I wanted to share with you Urban Decay’s latest base makeup product releases as I’ve been loving them lately. Their new All-Nighter Foundation has already garnered quite a fan base, and the Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluids are amazing concealers for correcting skin discolourations and tonal imperfections.
The Urban Decay All-Nighter Foundation* (£27 from Urban Decay) is definitely a full-coverage foundation, but it doesn’t feel or look heavy on the skin. There are 24 shades (catering to literally everyone) and I am 0.5 – the lightest available. It’s a perfect colour for me.
The formula is a highly-pigmented, full-coverage matte that will give you a flawless complexion in seconds. It blends beautifully and you only need the tiniest amount to do your whole face. I like to apply mine with a beauty blender sponge as I find this gives the most natural finish. I also like that this is quite a versatile foundation – if I do want a slightly sheerer and more glowy look, I just add a drop of my favourite facial oil to it.
As the name kind of gives away, this is a long-lasting, waterproof foundation that will see you through your entire night (or day out). The cut-out gunmetal packaging is incredibly cool too.
The Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluids* (£17.50 from Urban Decay) are coloured concealers that are used to balance out skin discolourations. There are 5 colours, that all do a different job, and I have three of them – green (to counteract redness), yellow (to brighten skin and conceal purple-hued dark circles) and pink (to conceal dark circles on fair skin and to highlight the skin).
So many colour correcting concealers I’ve tried are very thick creams, difficult to blend and drying on the skin; however, these liquid ones from Urban Decay are the exact opposite – they are highly-pigmented and very effective while still feeling very light, creamy and hydrating. As well as colour correcting, they also blur imperfections by diffusing light through pearlescent particles. It also contains the anti-oxidents Vitamin C and Vitamin E to protect and condition the skin.
Have you tried either of these new releases yet?
