I do love handbags and I have quite a collection now, but I’ll never have enough. I wanted to share with you the AW16 designer handbags that I am lusting over at the moment. I’ve trawled the internet and found you my favourite bags – all of them are perfect for the new season.
New Zealand designer Karen Walker’s Milly Cross Body Bag in Maise (£309 from Lyst) is a great way to incorporate this season’s mustard yellow trend into your look. It’s tortoiseshell clasp has a real autumn feel to it and the arrow shape makes the bag really quirky and cool.
If you don’t want to go all out with this season’s military trend, this Prada Cayerre Bag in Small (£1940 from Lyst) has a real military feel to it with its deep red and its detailed burnished gold hardware. I think it looks really chic.
Alexander McQueen’s Embellished Leather Clutch (£1745 from Net-a-Porter) is such a beautiful accompanyment to the trend of wearing opulent jewels as hair accessories. I just can’t get enough of embellished items just now and this would be a real collectable piece.
I am completely obsessed with this bag, just like i’m obsessed with the floral embroidery trend in fashion in general at the moment. The Fendi Peekaboo Mini Velvet (£4850 from Net-a-Porter) is way more than I would spend on a handbag, but it’s just stunning and would be the focal point of any outfit.
The studs on DesignInverso’s Amalfi Shoulder Bag (£149.02 from Farfetch) is really remeniscent of Valentino, but at a much lesser price. It’s a cute and smart black bag that shows off a little bit of my no-nonsense personality too. I like that there is both gold and silver on it too – I’m into mixing metals at the moment.
I love just about everything Lulu Guinness produces, but her Grace Pouch (£95 from Lulu Guinness) is amazing – it’s fun and sophisticated at the same time. I also love that it combines three of my loves – fashion, beauty and glitter.
Which of these is your favourite?
