There are so many beauty subscription boxes in the UK now, and they vary greatly in quality and price. I was invited by Look Incredible to experience their October Deluxe Beauty Box – one of the pricier subscription boxes on the market. I was so impressed, so I just had to share it with you. This box is such good value for money, and if you are a beauty junkie, you’ll adore it.
The Look Incredible October 2016 Deluxe Beauty Box* (£35 per month from Look Incredible) contains 5 full-size makeup and skincare products and this month’s selection is great – with products from the likes of MAC, Too Faced and Aromatherapy Associates that are worth £90. Depending on the product, samples aren’t always that much use, so it’s nice to be able to pay a reasonable amount more to get full-size. This month’s box is a collaboration with the Which Beauty Box UK blog.
My favourite product in the box is from Aromatherapy Associates – a brand I love. Their Support Breate Rollerball (£17) is designed to support you in times of stress and upset, to allow you to take a moment to take a deep breath. The scent is so fortifying, peaceful and awakening all at the same time and is a blend of Pine, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Peppermint Oils.
Next in the box is an amazing makeup setting spray – the Japonesque Makeup Setting Spray (£29) is one of the best i’ve ever tried. It has a lovely light and continuous spray that feels like airbrushing and it really does lock all your makeup in place all day. Talking of makeup, there’s also MAC’s Upward Lash Mascara (£19) in the box. This black mascara gives you lots of curl and volume for real impact lashes.
Another makeup item in the box is a lip liner from Too Faced. I received their Perfect Lips Liner in Perfect Pink (£15) and it’s a beautiful rose shade. The formula is really creamy and it just glides on. It feels really comfortable on the lips and really helps any lips products you put on top to stay where they are supposed to.
The final product in the box are two packs of Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover Towelettes (£5 each). Although it’s not good to use face wipes on a daily basis; when travelling or for emergencies, these are really handy and effective. They even remove stubborn waterproof mascara.
