If you didn’t already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and lots of beauty brands create limited edition pink products, or donate money from the sale of existing pink products, to breast cancer charities. The special Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Beauty Box* (£20 from Smashbox) is packed full of products from their brands and £12 from the sale of each box will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The contents of the box are worth a massive £66 and contain deluxe travel size products from Estée Lauder, Smashbox, Origins, Clinique, Bumble & Bumble and Aveda. There is also a unique discount code from each brand should you wish to purchase some full-size products from their sites. It has just gone on sale this week and you will need to be quick to get your hands on one.
There are two Estée Lauder products in the box. Their Advanced Night Repair (7ml) is a serum that allows you to wake up in the morning with smoother and more radiant skin; and their Sumptuous Knockout Mascara in Black (2.8ml) will really define, lift and fan out your lashes.
Clinique’s products in the box are their cult Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (30ml) – a moisturising gel that’s packed with hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and makes a great base for makeup – and their Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips (30ml), which instantly dissolves even the most stubborn of makeup.
The Origins product in the box is their Drink Up™ Intensive Overnight Mask To Quench Skin’s Thirst (7ml), which is an amazingly effective hydrating mask for dry skin that uses avocado, apricot kernal oil and Japanese eaweed extract to restore your skin’s moisture reserves and repair your skin’s moisture barrier.
Aveda have also included a product in the box. Their Hand Relief™ Moisturizing Crème (40ml) is a rich cream for dry and chapped hands. It improves moisture levels and elasticity, to help reduce signs of ageing and keep your hands comfortable.
Finally, there are products from Smashbox and Bumble & bumble. The Bumble & bumble Thickening Hairspray (30ml) is heat-activated and gives your hair lift and body as well as helping to keep your style in place. Smashbox have included their Photo Finish Foundation Primer (7ml), which was the brand’s original product. It’s oil-free and acts to smooth skin and blur flaws, while also conditioning and nourishing your skin.
This is one great beauty box and you need to go and pick one up now, before it’s too late.
