One of the latest releases from YSL Beauty are these brilliant liquid lipsticks that are a lipstick, lip gloss and lip stain in one. I just had to share them with you.

The YSL Beauty Vernis À Lèvres Vinyl Cream Liquid Lipsticks* (£26 from YSL Beauty) come in 12 bright and bold shades that all make a real statement. I’ve been playing with two of them – 410 Fuchsia Live (a fuchsia pink) and 406 Orange Electro (a fiery orange). 

The formula of these is amazing and is basically a fusion of two unique layers – an undercoat that has skincare benefits to hydrate and comfort the lips, and an overcoat that is intensely pigmented and long-lasting – these REALLY stain your lips. The
swatches on the back of my hand, especially the pink, was still visible
four or five days later, after several showers. These feel like a luxurious cream and they fill every line and contour of your lips, to create a smooth and perfected finish.

The applicator itself is really cool too. It’s cut in a diamond shape with a precision point that allows you to really emphasise your cupid’s bow and the outline of your lips. The flat edges have tiny little furrows cut into them, that get filled with formula so that you have enough to coat your entire lips in a layer of colour without having to dip the applicator back into the tube.
