It’s Face Mask Friday time again and this week i’m reviewing the cute new Look Beauty Animalz Sheet Masks that have a face printed on them. If you’re going to wear a mask, it may as well be a fun one! These Korean-inspired masks come in two varieties and are exclusive to Urban Outfitters.
The Tiger Moisturising Sheet Mask (£3.99 from Urban Outfitters) is designed to deeply nourish and hydrate. It’s infused with a serum that contains Soybean Extract (to moisturise and even out the skin tone), Mushroom Extract (to improve skin tone and texture and protect your skin from environmental pollutants) and Witch Hazel Water (to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation). Both the Tiger and Panda masks have no real scent, but they do have a slight ‘medical’ smell to them that reminds me of the dentist. It’s not unpleasant and you only really notice it for the first minute or so. You should wear these masks for 20 minutes, before tapping the excess serum into your skin. This mask left my skin feeling really soft and smooth, without that sticky residue that some sheet masks leave behind. I would get this mask again, just for general skin conditioning.
The Panda Calming Sheet Mask (£3.99 from Urban Outfitters) is designed to provide intense hydration as well as soothe and calm the skin. It contains Honey and Camellia Extract (to protect your skin against environmental pollutants, encourage skin healing and to help lock moisture into the skin). It also has Lavender Flower Water (to reduce inflammation and calm irritated skin). This mask is great if you have irritated skin or have just gone a bit overboard with your exfoliation as it feels very cooling and soothing. It left my skin feeling very soft, plump and a bit less sore after I rubbed too hard with a Dr Lancer scrub. This is a good mask to have in for skin emergencies.
Would you wear these?
