I was so excited to try this new hydrogel sheet mask from Image Skincare and it did not disappoint. At £9 each, these are luxury masks; but they are definitely worth it for when you want to treat yourself.

The Image Skincare I-Mask Biomolecular Hydrating Recovery Masks (£9 from Face The Future) are a thin hydrogel mask that feels like a second skin. It’s not that great fitting around the mouth for me, which is a shame, but this will differ for everybody I guess. These masks don’t really have a scent, but they do feel very cooling on the skin and are very pleasant to wear. You keep them on for 20-25 minutes and when you remove it, your skin will feel incredibly soft, plump and firm.

The masks are also infused with lots of other active ingredients such as botanicals, peptides and antioxidants; which nourish the skin and have anti-ageing benefits. You are also getting antioxident protection and soothing properties too. The basis of the masks is volcanic magma water, which is full of natural minerals (to keep up your skin’s defences) and is high in oxygen to improve cell respiration. It’s also very hydrating.

My skin feels so soft, plump and firm after using these. They are suitable for all skin types and are perfect for long-haul flights or if you’ve been out in the sun all day – they are literally a drink for your skin, so if you are looking for hydrating masks, you need to try these.
