So many beauty boxes have come through my door this month. I’ve featured some of them here on the blog, and some of them on Instagram; but I thought I’d round-up three that you really should pick up if you’re thinking about getting any.
First up is the June edition of the regular Look Fantastic Beauty Box* (from £13 per month at Look Fantastic). The theme of this month’s box is Wanderlust, and I think it’s their best box in a long time. This has some amazing stuff in it (the contents are worth over £55), and it’s beautiful to look at too.
There are two gorgeous full-size makeup products in the box – a nude Hailey Baldwin for Model Co Super Lips Lipgloss, and a super-sparkly loose powder Bellapierre Shimmer Highlighter. These have gone straight into my makeup bag. Skincare wise, there’s a sample-size pot of the famous First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance pads that use AHAs to chemically exfoliate your skin. There’s also a sample sized Monu Rosewood Reviving Mist that’s a perfect facial mist to take travelling; and there’s a sample-size Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser – a great natural brand. The last product in the box is a haircare one – a handy travel-sized Kerastase Resistance Shampoo. This box is incredible value, so snap one up before the month ends!
Look Fantastic have also been releasing the most incredible limited edition beauty boxes in collaboration with one brand per box. These are priced at £35 each and they contain a lot more full-sized products. I just couldn’t love Look Fantastic more at the moment – they are totally winning at the beauty box game. Their latest limited edition box for this month is a Look Fantastic X Caudalie Beauty Box* (£35 from Look Fantastic). This box actually sold out in 2 days, so you can’t get it on their site anymore. What you can do however, is sign up to the waiting list for the next limited edition beauty box. I heard a whisper that there was one from This Works coming soon. This Caudalie box is worth a whopping £95 and contains three full-sized products and three generous sample-sized products.
Finally, if you are a fragrance lover (male or female), you can’t not subscribe to the super-affordable Discovery Club Box from The Fragrance Shop* (£5 from The Fragrance Shop). This is a quarterly box, rather than monthly, and it contains around 7 fragrance samples for both men and women. It’s a great chance to test out how scents wear on you, and to have a sniff at new releases. You’ll also get £5 vouchers for money off the full-size versions if you choose to purchase them. The current box has a great mix of scents to see you through the summer.
