It’s finally time for a very late April & May fashion and lifestyle favourites post. There are so many amazing items in this post – from jewellery and shoes, to films and homeware.
Starting with fashion, the first item that I’m obsessed with is this bargain £10 floral embroidered box clutch bag from Primark. It also come with a chain so you can wear it over your shoulder. It’s bang on trend and looks so much more expensive than it is. I think it’ll still be hot in Autumn too. I also picked up some gorgeous jewellery from Jon Richard. This set of four coloured gem rings was £14, but it’s currently in the sale for just £7 – another bargain!
Also from Jon Richard, I got this Rose Gold Plated Sterling Silver Star Necklace (£20). I love star print things and this is so simple and chic. I also have some personal silver charms that I needed a new heavier chain for (my initial thin one snapped), so I chose this one (Sterling Silver Rolo Chain Necklace, £18) from Jon Richard and it has been perfect.
Talking of jewellery, I wanted a way to store and display my current favourite jewellery pieces so that I don’t have to put them away, hidden, after every wear. I got this Block Medium Peg Board in Light Blue (£40 from Red Candy). Now I can see the pieces that I’m loving, and can choose what to put on more easily. I worried that it might be too heavier for my walls, but it’s actually very lightweight and thin; while still being sturdy and of great quality. You can move the coloured pegs to any position you want, which I love. It would also be great for the crafty storage of things such as scissors, Sellotape and washi tape etc.
When I was in Primark, I also picked up this amazing pair of metallic pink trainers (£8). These are very much on-trend for summer and I love them. So comfortable and definitely eye-catching.
This post is full of bargains, and carrying this theme on, I want to share my current favourite candle scent of the moment. This candle was only £2.99 from Home Bargains and it smells amazing. Wickford & Co Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream has a sweet vanilla and raspberry ice-cream scent, and it’s perfect for summer.
Finally, I got some washi tape* made with my blog logo and I love it. I use it to seal giveaway prize parcels, as well as ‘thank you’ cards that go to brands and PRs. I’ve also put some on the front of my blog planner – the Kate Spade Large 2017 Agenda. The lovely guys at WovenLabelHK sent me a run of these personalised washi tapes, but if you want to purcahse your own design, it costs $78 for 10 rolls (including postage).
Which of these items do you love?
